• You can use the British Library site to search on any page by clicking on the search icons at top and bottom left. A simple search will retrieve resources from the main website, Images Online, and 80% of the material on the Collect Britain website.  Turn the Pages online of 14 wonderful and unique books, including a Leonardo da Vinci notebook, the Lindisfarne Gospels, Sultan Baybars' Qur'an, Jane Austen's History of England and Lewis Carroll's original Alice manuscript.

• Understanding the spelling rules of English can be a daunting task for students, but there are rules which can assist the struggling speller in improving her or his skills. Two large categories which can be troublesome are rules for irregular plural formation of nouns and rules for spelling changes when verb inflections are added.

• This site supports the Literacy Hour in England. It will also support anyone teaching English as a foreign language.

• This Web Site contains word problems for students and teachers. The problems are classified into grade levels from Grade 5 to Grade 12. THIS IS NOT A TEST, but a set of carefully selected problems which can help you improve your problem solving skills
